There will be huge update in the new year. My apologies to all who are
involved and view this site, but those that know me will be aware that
I've been a touch busy recently! Hope you all have a great Christmas
and an Alfa New Year!!!

BigBoy has Supersprint mid-section fitted. This is in addition to his
Supersprint rear box that he already had. It makes it substantially
louder and also does no harm to the BHP output either! It also fixed
a slight blow and also fitted exceptionally well. This now means that
both he and myself have Supersprint exhausts from the mid-section to
the tail pipe. Totally legal, more BHP and fit very, very well. They
sound awesome too. Highly recommended!

Another update I hear you cry!!! Yep, sure is. It's the gallery his time. I (FriarJnr) have put some pictures up of my car. When I
get some off BigBoy and Fubar I'll get them posted too. I hope you enjoy
looking at mine for the time being. New one's will be posted soon if
it stops damn raining!!!

We have a new official member!!! Firstly though, I must apologise for
a much delayed update. The old life of FriarJnr is a bit hectic at the
moment what with moving house, business ventures and alcohol!!! This
is a quick update to do the contacts page and to announce our new official
member. Talking of which, his 'name' is Fubar and he's a long time mate
of ours and (no surprise) a drinking buddy. We lost touch for quite
a while but he's back on the scene and announced that it was time to
get shot of the old Fiat Punto 1.2 and get something more 'fun'. He
already had an idea that the 147 was the car for him and indeed ended
up with virtually the same car as BigBoys, a 2.0 Selespeed. It's not
got the Winter Pack on but does benefit from rather lush leather!!!
It's in mint condition and only an 04 plate. He's already assured us
that it's heading for some tasteful moding!!! Check it out in it's current
form in the gallery (soon). More apologies. Big update is imminent,
mainly getting the gallery up and running!!!!

Snetterton was awesome!!! Despite alcohol consumption again, we did
manage to make it to Snetterton. Our parents live about 3 miles from
the circuit so there was no excuse not to go. We didn't get there particularly
early though but on the Saturday we did get to see the BTCC qualifying
and a few other categories of race qualifying prior, including Formula
Renault. I haven't been to a race meeting since I was a kid and it was
fantastic. The noise was incredible despite the circuit having to comply
to stupid noise pollution regulations :o( We did have a party to go
to in the evening so we didn't manage to catch the 1st BTCC race on
Sunday (damn booze), but we did arrive in time for the 2nd race and
stay for a few hours and watch the 3rd BTCC race as well as other races.
Both days we watched from the 'Bomb Hole' corner. It's amazing the speed
that they flew through that corner! It was a great experience and I
would recommend it to anyone. We hope to go to the final meeting of
the season at Brands Hatch but this time we will be better prepared.
Seats, warmer clothing and a cool box with booze and grub are all essential
BTCC items!!! Pictures will be posted very shortly (hopefully with some
AVI clips too!!).

Ooops!! Our other love, alcohol, very much got in the way of our weekend
at The Silverstone Classic!! We have a rather regular habit of popping
into our local pub for a quick drink and then not making it out again
in under a few hours or sober. Many a time our cars have been abandoned
in the pub car park which then leads to us returning the following day
to retrieve the cars. We then have a hair of the dog, which then turns
into another session. This pattern gets repeated until we have to go
to work!!! Needless to day this happened the Friday before the Silverstone
meet and carried on all weekend. I'm sure it was a very good event and
we'll see if we can make it next year!!!!

BigBoy has booked tickets for us to go to Car Tuner Grand Prix at Donington
on the 17th September 2005. It looks like quite a laugh although it
could be a bit Chavy with lots of Burberry Caps around the place. It
will, however, be fun showing the spotty youth of today what a real
car is like rather than the collection of Nova's, Corsa's & Clio's
everywhere. Can't imaging that they'll be too many Alfa's so we'll do
our best to represent them! Check out the site at www.tunergp.co.uk
We are also going to The Silverstone Classic at Silverstone (Duh!) on
the 30th - 31st July 2005. This is a more sensible and mature motoring
event. The Burberry Caps will be replaced with cloth caps and trousers
tucked into socks!!! There is loads going on here, more than just on
the track. Again, should be a great weekend so check it out at www.silverstone-circuit.co.uk/booktickets/book_tickets_CLASSIC.htm
